Learners who successfully complete the PDBA will be awarded a Professional Diploma in Business Administration which will be internationally recognised.<\/b><\/strong><\/p><p>The programme is listed on the SCQF data base and can be found at https:\/\/scqf.org.uk\/about-the-framework\/scqf-database\/ Just type in London Examinations Board under \u201cOwner of Qualification\u201d and you will find details there.\u00a0<\/p><p><strong><b>Overview of PDBA Programme<\/b><\/strong><\/p><ul><li>\u00a0<\/li><li><ul><li>All students undergo an online induction briefing.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><ul><li>There are eight Common Core Units of 15 credits each.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><ul><li>Students shall undertake all eight Common Core Units.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><ul><li>To complete the programme and gain the PDBA award, students must also successfully complete and earn a total of 120 credits.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><ul><li>Each semester\/term will be delivered over duration of 6 weeks per module and submission of assignment at the end of the 12th week from the commencement of each module.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><ul><li>Upon successful completion, students will be conferred with the \u201cProfessional Diploma in Business Administration\u201d award.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong><b>Studying at Level 11 (Postgraduate level)<\/b><\/strong><\/p><p>There will be infusing of practicalities around increased knowledge; Along with this is advanced academic training:<\/p><ul><li>\u00a0<\/li><li><ul><li>The ability to compare, contrast and critique the work of other academics<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><ul><li>The synthesis of theory and the practical application<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><ul><li>The appreciation of the complexities of the subject and the ability to discuss these through a variety of lenses<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><ul><li>Develop advanced writing<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><ul><li>Being factual and scientific in approach<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><h4>Assessments<\/h4><ul><li>\u00a0<\/li><li><ul><li>Assessment is on the work of individuals<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>\u00a0<\/li><li><ul><li>Reflects on students\u2019 knowledge, experience and practice<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><ul><li>Leads to being able to modify and develop their own experiences and others with current business practices<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><h4>Management Reports<\/h4><p>The assessment tasks employed in assessing learning outcomes are in the form of Management Reports. with word limitations of usually between 4,000 words. Each unit document will outline the specific word limit.<\/p><p>The purpose of the word limitation is for students to:<\/p><ul><li>\u00a0<\/li><li><ul><li>Focus on issues.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><ul><li>Be critically concise.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><ul><li>Refrain from writing excessively.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><ul><li>Assist them in their time management throughout
